Erin + Griffin, The Wedding with all the Snow

The weather called for snow and lots of it. Many prayed the heavy snow would hold off so that all could go as planned for Erin and Griffin. I, on the other hand, selfishly prayed that it would snow throughout the day. I've photographed weddings with snow on the ground, but never with all that fresh beauty coming down from the sky.

What happened? IT SNOWED!!

The day was spent rushing in and out of Hope Chapel. We took photos while the snow was falling. The people, the snow, the scene, the time...ugh, it was all so beautiful, I kept squealing. (For those unaware, I make sound effects when I'm taking photos. Leave me alone...it's not a crime.)

Erin looked like a magic Snow White and Griffin was beaming from ear to ear all day. These two spent the day loving on each other and being celebrated by their family and closest pals. I just love how much these two love each other. It was an absolute delight to photograph their day!

The parking lot was full of snow and these guys came early to shovel and make way for the adventurous guests! Unfortunately, with the weather, some were left at home, but for those who trekked out into the snow, I know Griffin and Erin were delighted that you came!

Erin's siblings had to be certain that Griffin was up to their standards, when it came to taking care of their sister.

The beautiful flowers from today were arranged by the oh so talented Andraya of FLORA . She and her husband Daniel were expecting their little Lyla James. They very next day we took advantage of the weather and captured some beautiful portraits of them in the snow.
